Yes, I know it’s only July and summer hols are on the horizon for many of you but as crazy as it might sound, here at Sarunds our focus is purely on Christmas.
Our stunning all new Christmas and Halloween 2016 catalogue has already gone out to customers (if you haven’t received your copy then please let us know) and from all accounts it’s going down a storm.
Many of you will know that we scour Europe to find those artisan chocolatiers and confectioners who are as passionate about their craft as we are about our business.
This year we have found 12 new suppliers and 350 new products that meet our strict Sarunds criteria of delivering a top quality product at an affordable price.
From traditional Belgian, Italian and English chocolates, beautifully presented authentic Italian Panettone, foiled novelty items and free from options, the range has been carefully selected to allow you to create an impressive premium seasonal offer, with many lines exclusive to House of Sarunds and not available in the supermarkets.
If you are serious about confectionery and want to maximise the Christmas gifting opportunity then come talk to us. Drawing on 21 years industry experience we can help you create a ‘go to’ gifting destination with an eye popping display of wonderfully indulgent, innovative lines across all price points which will really help drive sales.
Just as a taster, new for 2016 are: fun handmade Belgian chocolate shoes displayed in a transparent ‘handbag’ with assorted truffles from the master, award winning Belgian chocolatier Van Coillie – be warned - these will sell out fast, what woman doesn’t like shoes? ; a new Van Roy ‘prestige collection’ featuring premium gold blocked packaging and an assorted collection of House of Sarunds’ bestselling loose chocolates, plus tubes of truffles made with strawberry pâté de fruit, dark and white chocolate doughnuts filled with a milk chocolate mousse and dried dates enrobed in dark Belgian chocolate. From Cachet by Kim’s comes Cachet Tanzania, a specially created chocolate assortment of which a percentage of sales will be donated to a project to rebuild schools in Kabanga, a cocoa bean growing region of Tanzania.
Over the next few weeks I will introduce you to some of our new rising stars so please check back regularly to find out more. In the meantime, happy browsing!
